Environmental Policy

Top Management {3.1.5} of EXEDY America Corporation (EAC) is committed to its responsibility of environmental protection and strives to lessen its impact on the environment in which it (EAC) operates via an Environmental Management System (EMS) {3.1.2, 4.4}.
By taking organizational context {4.1} and expectations of interested parties {3.1.6, 4.2} in to account, Top Management understands the responsibility towards fulfilling its environmental compliance obligations {3.2.9, 6.1.3}, as well as the importance of continually enhancing the organization’s environmental performance {3.4.10-11, 6.2}.
To effectively implement the EMS, Top Management shall {5.1}:
- Take accountability for the effectiveness and continual improvement of the EMS
- Integrate the EMS requirements into EAC’s business processes and strategic direction
- Ensure that resources (human and financial capital) needed for EMS implementation are available
- Communicate the importance for complying with EMS requirements, both internally, as well as to suppliers and contractors
- Review environmental objectives and targets periodically, ensuring that they speak to enhancing environmental performance and are compatible with organizational context
- Communicate, and make available, this Policy to EAC employees and other interested parties
